Featuring sea views, Anchorstone provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 2.6 km from Dead Man Beach. Wonderful bed and linen, balcony to take in the picturesque views, and feed the kaka blueberries,well appointed kitchen, great bathroom, great ambience with the rainforest view out the rear window and spectacular view of Horseshoe bay at the front. The convenience and flexibility of having the use of a car for our stay allowed us to drive to the start of several walks and home at the finish and thus allowed us to explore much more of the island than if we were only on foot.Thoroughly recommend Anchorstone and would definitely stay there again.

Hananui PurePod is set in Stewart Island and offers barbecue facilities. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Unique experience all around & all together-being one with nature-the design of the glass cabin. Perfect temperature, layout, design, bedding. WE LOVED IT! No Kiwi SEEN by the cabin area but a walk down the main road resulted in a sighting! The STARS above you & it’s no dream.

With sea views, Church Hill Boutique Lodge & Restaurant is located in Half-moon Bay and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden and terrace. Chris and Deanne are a great team. We enjoyed our conversations with them and their hospitality. We both liked the option to pick your breakfast time and select what you wanted from the menu. We stayed three nights and ate dinner there each night and were never disappointed, great selections too. Chris was more than willing to provide a lift somewhere when needed. We highly recommend a stay at Church Hill.

With panoramic views of the Tasman Sea, The Bay Motel overlooks Halfmoon Bay on Stewart Island. It features a nearby golf course, a free shuttle service and free private parking on site. Spacious comfortable and clean rooms, the property is in a great location surrounded by nature but very close to the town. The hosts were so friendly helpful and attentive made our stay much better just with their great service.

Spacious studio Quiet location overlooking a lawn and right in the centre of the township Excellent food and wine in the bar and restaurant Stewart Island is a magical place
