Safir Hotel Casino is a newly built complex at the Slovenian-Italian border, about 2 km from the centre of Sežana and close to a variety of attractions. Nice and rich breakfast, very nice staff and helpful. Room was cozy and automated via air conditioning. We asked for making up the room and that was very fast. Place is near highway but the building is well built so you wont even notice. We we very happy to stay here. Pets ale welcomed for a fee per night.

Set in the heart of the Lipica stud farm with over 300 Lipizzaner horses, Hotel Maestoso offers elegant ensuite rooms. Some of them have balconies overlooking the nearby golf course. The room and the crowd were stunning. The location is excellent and there are many nice attractions around. Tanya at the reception was lovely and helped us a lot to plan the rest of the trip, explained us about Slovenia and was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend visiting there.

Located in Divača, Hotel Malovec features a restaurant and provides air-conditioned accommodation just 450 metres from the A1 motorway and 500 metres from the Divaca Train Station. I have been to this hotel 3 past times and they never disappoint. Breakfast is fresh and beautiful and the staff are always so accommodating. The restaurant around the back side of the hotel is one of the best in Slovenia!! I always eat there once before leaving, sensational.

The Hotel Tabor is located next to the Sezana Train Station, 1 km from the Sezana-Zahod exit of the A3 motorway. It offers free Wi-Fi and free public parking. Easily reachable from the train station, good location in general. Value for money is excellent. Friendly staff.

Boasting a terrace and views of quiet street, Vila Ana is an apartment set in a historic building in Štanjel, 25 km from Trieste Train Station. Small and modern apartment equipped with kitchenette. Perfect for a short stay. Restaurants were closed on the day we were there but we could easily cook something at the apartment and eat in the nice terrace.

Offering garden views, Škerlj Wine Estate is an accommodation located in Tomaj, 17 km from Trieste Train Station and 18 km from Piazza Unità d'Italia. Beautiful family estate tacked away in a small village. The place is so nice and quiet, perfect place to spend the last couple of days of our holiday. The small swimming pool was a nice surprise. In the evening We sat by the pool to enjoy their wines. The hospitality of the owners were exceptional. The kind of place you want to come back.
