Room (double) was spacious and had good floor fan; grounds were nice. Staff were friendly, and set up a table outside for our dinner. They arranged car and driver for our friends who were returning to Entebbe ahead of us. Not a real restaurant but woman cooked to order for us, both dinner and breakfast. Breakfast (included) was tasty.

With garden views, Murchison Falls Bamboo Village is situated in Murchison Falls National Park and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The place was amazing, sustainably created and exceptionally well appointed. The rooms were enormous and the proprietor kindly showed me around the recently completed lodges aimed at backpackers, of which he was justifiably proud. They were lovely, affordable and with everything needed. The open plan restaurant is well appointed and there is a stunning viewing platform nearby where you can eat and enjoy the surrounding scenery if you wish. The place is quite remote, so I'm glad I changed my original plans to travel by local bus (as there aren't many) and arrived with a vehicle and driver instead. I had an amazing stay, I did a safari and visited Murchison Falls, which were breathtaking! Highly recommended!
