Located in Voelklip, a suburb of Hermanus, Mosselberg on Grotto Beach offers heated pool and courtyard. This elegant boutique hotel features free WiFi and is a 5-minute walk from the beach. I lived in many countries and am a seasoned traveler. This was probably the most spacious room I've ever stayed in. The room is large, has big glass doors opening onto the ocean with an open plan en suite bathroom. It is modern and well maintained. The way the facilities are laid out in the room shows somebody paid attention to detail. For example, the towels are right where you need them at the basin, not somewhere over there. 10/10 for this facility. I will stay there again in a heartbeat. We were held up by traffic and was running late for a wedding. The staff checked us in in two seconds and helped us with whatever we needed to get ready soon.

The location is second to none, incredible ocean and mountain vistas almost wherever you look, but what really made this experience something special are the staff, they are attentive, engaging and friendly. What really struck me about the staff is how much they actually care about your experience, always asking “can I help you with x” or “we can do y if that’s better for you” etc without skipping a beat!

Located in Sandbaai, only 50 meters away from Schulphoek Bay, Schulphoek Seafront House features an outdoor pool and a garden. The stay at Schulphoek Seafront House was awesome, really great rooms, exceptionelly nice and serviceminded staff. Misty Waves Boutique Hotel is a luxury, 4-star hotel metres from the historic centre of Hermanus. Chic, elegant rooms overlook the lush garden and terrace with sun loungers and an outdoor pool. Lovely ambience and location Staff were very helpful. Lovely to be able to park on site.
